Name a Character in
BEYOND THE REAPER
I’m giving one Reaper Crew member the opportunity to name a minor character in Beyond the Reaper, the fourth and final book in The Reaper Series.
The character is a human who works for the National Security Agency and can be either male or female. Submit the name you’d like me to consider, along with a brief explanation of why you chose it.

Entries must be received by October 15, 2026. I’ll select one winning name to appear in the finished novel. The winner will also receive a signed copy of Beyond the Reaper after its release. So put on your writer’s hat and give me your best name. Just remember—once your character enters the Reaper universe, I make no promises about what happens to them. Good luck, Reaper Crew!
OFFICIAL RULES
No purchase necessary. Contest is open to legal residents of the United States who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. One entry per person.
Entry Period: Entries must be received no later than October 15, 2026.
How to Enter: Submit your entry through the Contact Form on this website. Provide your name and a valid email address and include your suggested character name in the comments. No purchase is required to enter or win.
Winner Selection: One winning character name will be selected by author Todd Hosea from eligible entries. The winner will be notified by email on or before November 1, 2026. If the selected winner cannot be contacted or does not respond within seven days of notification, another entry may be selected.
Prize: The winning character name will appear in Beyond the Reaper, and the winner will receive one signed copy of the book following its release. The approximate retail value of the prize is $35 USD. The prize is nontransferable and has no cash equivalent.
Character Name: Submission of a name does not guarantee its use. The author reserves the right to modify the submitted name, spelling, or other details as necessary for the story and may decline any submission deemed inappropriate, offensive, or unsuitable.
If you submit the name of another person, you are responsible for obtaining that person’s permission before entering it. Do not submit the name of a public figure or another individual whose name you do not have permission to use.
The winning name will be used for a fictional minor character. The character’s personality, appearance, actions, dialogue, storyline, and ultimate fate will be determined entirely by the author. The fictional character should not be interpreted as a portrayal of the person whose name inspired it.
Permission to Use: By entering, you grant Todd Hosea permission to use the submitted name in Beyond the Reaper and in materials related to the book and The Reaper Series, without additional compensation beyond the stated prize.
